Episcopal church women

Our diocesan Episcopal Church Women (ECW) group is open to all women in the diocese, regardless of whether there is an organized ECW group at their congregation.

Our mission is to be Sisters in Christ; to be every Episcopal woman whether lay or ordained; and to be committed to prayer, worship, listening, leadership, study, service, giving, and fellowship. Our vision is to empower women to fulfill their ministries.

The ECW gathers for several events throughout the year. These include the Fall Retreat, Winter Retreat, and the Annual Conference and Bishop's Day. We are also currently working to re-establish regional meetings that will bring women together for a day of fellowship, networking and fun!

Additionally, every three years, the ECW of the Diocese of Oklahoma elects four women to represent us at the Triennial Gathering, which meets in conjunction with General Convention.

We, as Episcopal Church Women, can make a difference in the life and ministry of our congregations, our communities, our diocese, and the world. We lovingly support our local diocesan activities through giving and service. We also support the wider church through the United Thank Offering and the Church Periodical Club. Our newest endeavor is providing funds for the young women of Clover House in Salina, Kansas.

We hope you will contact us to learn more, and join us at one of our upcoming events!
