Maundy Thursday

The Maundy Thursday begins the Triduum, one continuing liturgy beginning with Maundy Thursday and concluding with the Great Vigil of Easter.  Maundy Thursday reminds us of the Last Supper, servitude of others (foot washing), and the betrayal that Jesus will face.  The service ends with the stripping of the altar and the congregation leaves in silence.

The Altar of Repose Vigil begins immediately after the service with round-the-clock prayer concluding with the Good Friday service.
